Homeland Security Internet Watch List Leak

Click here for the .pdf file

Strange, there are small sites on there (like blogspots about Haiti) on the same list as big sites like Youtube.

[EDIT: Okay, well Stratfor is on there. Winning.]

Google, Facebook,Twitter discussing going down in protest of SOPA

"This type of thing doesn’t happen because companies typically don’t want to put their users in that position. The difference is that these bills so fundamentally change the way the Internet works. People need to understand the effect this special-interest legislation will have on those who use the Internet." --Time.com

This article debates whether or not these sites should go completely offline when the time comes, or be replaced with a screen explaining why they are down, what they are protesting, etc. Me, being a little extreme, think that they should just be completely down. "Internet explorer cannot find the page you are looking for" should show up. And yes, I realize I just implied that anyone uses internet explorer in 2012. Will it spark more outrage? Probably. Will it confuse people who don't know about the blackout? Definitely.

People, on this day, will go to log into their facebooks first thing in the morning (like 48% of 20-30 year olds, true story), and they will see that it is down, they will wonder why, and they will go to google it, but nope, Google's down.

This will be a very boring day but it is well worth the outrage and media coverage it will receive. I wish I could tell you who to write to encourage these sites to do this, as I fully support the idea. Will keep you all updated if I find anything.

[EDIT: It is also important to let people know that this bill will not do anything to stop online piracy, but will only inconvenience everyday users. It does not support IP blocking, which means that online pirates will still be able to access the sites they want to. More on this article I didn't read because I basically just summed it up: More here...]

A Thought on American Education

I just woke up from a slew of odd dreams full of conversation, swimming with my family in full clothing in a weird room that should not have had a pool, and other weird things. Anyway no one cares about my fucked up dreams, but in one of them an interesting topic came up. A faceless person said to me "The educational system is just like a factory." Which I completely agree with. The uniform seating like a sweatshop, the bells that go off like foghorns, the uniform meals and long, bleak corridors. My experience was much like this because our schools were built in the 40's/50's. Every school I went to had that industrial revolution vibe.

Don't get me wrong, I learned a lot of morals and truth from school. Unfortunately our education is watered down just like our media and culture. I've always brought up to people that there are only 4 text book companies in America and they are all regulated by the government. Remember there being more? I didn't think so, all I remember is Haughton-Mifflin. But I do remember there being few others.

Everyday I thank science that I wasn't born in North Korea or Libya, and I am glad to be an American. Everyday I think of ways we can better this country, though, and that is true patriotism.

I woke up to a program talking about how great education is, and I agree, but It needs to be improved like a lot of other important issues. It's half of what would solve our inner city problems (lack of education, and poverty, with these things there will only be crime.)

Twitter Ordered To Provide Department Of Justice w/ Wikileaks' Supporters Information

“It includes all mailing addresses and billing information known for the user, all connection records and session times, all IP addresses used to access Twitter, all known email accounts, as well as the ‘means and source of payment,’ including banking records and credit cards.”

--Salon.com report

What do you think people? I'm still unclear on how these supporters "support" Wikileaks, but I'm assuming it is financially. A lot of people support Wikileaks morally.

Here's nice one, keep em coming!!!

Please send all fan pics, music submissions, and viruses to generationdoom@gmail.com

A couple new ones! Thanks guys! Keep em coming!

This one is great. I didn't notixe he was eating the paper for a couple seconds

BREAKING: Soldier training for "Civil Unrest" overseas - Not allowed to speak about it

Not sure if this is legit, trying to get him to send a pic of himself with newspaper or the order asap. He's having a lot of trouble understanding what I'm trying to get him to do and I am infuriated trying to explain to him that I need him to make an imgur.com account so I can get the pictures when he uploads them (don't want to reveal my email to him).

U.S. Exporting Terrorism? Leaked CIA documents say the CIA is concerned.

"The CIA is worried that the United States will become known as an exporter of terrorism, according to a recent revelation by the Internet whistleblower site WikiLeaks.org."

Keep em coming guys!!!!

Just woke up to my power being out. I went a week without power recently, and it was pretty tough to say the least (first world problems). But this time around I knew the power would be coming back on, and the lack of power was quite peaceful. I still had my lap top w/ internet so I was just fine and dandy. Think I might go play with the fuse box...

Conversation About NDAA + NDAA Summarized In One Paragraph

"It's so blatantly unconstitutional"

The National Defense Authorization Act is a bill already passed by our congress and senate allowing the government to detain anyone in the world (including Americans) suspected of terrorism in a military (i.e. Guantanamo Bay) or civil prison until the war on terror IS OVER, without a fair trial (hello, bill of rights, where are you?). People have been arguing about the word "requirement" in the bill. It states that this (detainment) does not extend to US citizens because US Armed Forces are not required to hold US citizens in MILITARY prisons. Meaning that they are allowed to hold these "suspected terrorists" in CIVIL prisons (the one you drive by all the time, you know, with all the barbed wire) UNTIL THE END OF THE ENDLESS WAR ON TERROR. Obama signed this bill after convincing us that he would veto it, the same man who was for shutting down Gitmo when he was first elected.

If this isn't your cup of tea, if this rubs you the wrong way AT ALL...Sign the ACLU's pledge to fight worldwide indefinite detention for as long as it takes. It is a very short form (Name and E-mail)

The conversation:

(Patriot 2 links Patriot 1 to NDAA video stating that if you have enough food in your house to last you more than 7 days, you can be classified "a terrorist")

nah i dont understand
we should have the right to just be like "nah i dont like that as a whole"
as a whole not in quotes
just signed the pledge ACLU
"disinfo" agents are even going as far to say that the bill people are outraged about is the "old bill" and they wrote a "new one"
i bet someone is busy hacking the senators credit cards right now so they can make monthly donations to the ACLU

When is the last time we've had problems with a domestic terrorist? I've heard that Homeland Security dodges 99 terrorist attacks a day. I'm pretty sure most of those are from overseas.

Moss street art? New to me!

"dude i want a moss room, [my friend] used to talk about it
like sitting naked in a moss room with glass walls, so cash"

"have u seen moss graffitti?
its simple as fuck
u can make a moss room
all u do
is take moss
like rip some from a tree
put it in a blender gently
and put in some buttermilk (check online for exact amount)
and pour it somewhere
spread it smear it, whatever u want
and keep it moist for 1-2 weeks
and it will grow into moss
u basically turn moss into milky paint
that will grow if u keep it moist for a week
its genius street art"

Another oldie of mine

Teleprompt by DOOM GENERRÆTION

This is off the Tinman EP back when my name was Tinman. I prefer Doom. Again the quality can't be fixed because all of a great little virus I got which made me lose my shit. Enjoy! More on my soundcloud!

All week I will be getting you more and more pumped for my new tracks, which will blow these out of the water.

Here's a song I made last spring

TOTAL RECALL by DOOM GENERRÆTION

I made this last march. I really want to revamp it but all my old files are corrupted, will see if I can fix it and do-la-diddily with my new skill-zets. Ladies, please contain your orgassies. Put on your glassies and viddy dis horrorshow entatainmanage-e-twa for the senses. Listen to it loud. Play it proud, put your wizard hand on your left breast and say your pledge to colgate toothpaste. Let down the barriers of funk and free you joystick so we can all enjoy the pleasure. That is not sexual.

You can find more tracks on my Soundcloud or my Youtube.

Thoughts

"I like two things, money and music" - my brain

Also I just dropped all my tobacco on the floor and am now smoking hair cigarettes. Glugh. Also saying glugh made me remember how much I hate when Liz Lemon says "blurg" like it's all cute and such.

Here's a song I made a year and a half ago...

Tinman - Rev It (Low Quality Preview) by DOOM GENERRÆTION

I don't know why I never made it public. I guess because it was unfinished before I got a virus that tore my heart out with it. It's not my best work, it's not half as good as the stuff I'm making now. But it's something. I am beating myself up for not uploading the whole thing because the end sounds pretty marvelous. You can check out more on My soundcloud. Let me know what you think!

Brace yourselves...New song is coming...

Isn't it just music to your eyes?
